Goodwill South Florida welcomed guests to the iconic New World Center in Miami Beach for its signature fundraising event — “Rhythm and Threads: A Celebration of People and Purpose.”
The evening kicked off with a live performance by the Spirit of Goodwill Band, the acclaimed musical group comprised of vocalists and musicians employed by Goodwill South Florida with diverse abilities. Celebrity designer Gianina Azar, then wowed the crowd with a runway show featuring 20 looks, combining her signature style with thrifted pieces from Goodwill stores to highlight the importance of sustainable fashion.
South Florida Live on NBC 6 previewed the event and Local 10 shared the inspiring event with the viewers.
