This summer, #OGGoodClient Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana launched the Gary Bimonte Internship Program. Created in memory of the late Gary Bimonte, grandson of Frank Pepe, the program offers local students hands-on experience at the pizzeria’s original location in New Haven—from stretching dough to managing the dining room, and more.
FOX61 recently interviewed the inaugural intern, 20-year-old Jonathan Cervantes from CT State’s Gateway Campus, who spent the summer learning the family’s time-honored techniques and values firsthand.
