FORT WAYNE, Ind. — A group of 30 nursing Students from Medtech College in Fort Wayne will host a free health fair from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, at The Hearth at Sycamore Village in Fort Wayne.
The health fair is being held for residents of the licensed residential care community and members of the public. Students will record vital signs, take health histories, and educate people about the benefits of healthy eating and lifestyle habits.
Medtech students also will showcase class projects to visitors interested in preparing for careers in nursing and healthcare, and staff members from The Hearth will conduct tours and show what it’s like to work as a nurse at the community.
