FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Something special is brewing at Anthony’s! This summer, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza and Funky Buddha Brewery will host three Craft Beer Tasting Dinners featuring their signature brew, Fuhgeddaboudit Red Ale.

An Italian-American ale, Fuhgeddaboudit Red is crafted with a blend of European barley and English hops. Flavorful enough to balance the intense crunch of coal-fired crust yet refined precisely to pair with delicate tomato sauce, Fuhgeddaboudit Red Ale is the perfect complement to Anthony’s “well done” pizza and Italian Soul Food.

Craft Beer Tasting Dinners will be held at Anthony’s in:
* Boca Raton on Wednesday, June 4 at 7 p.m. Call (561) 218-6600 to RSVP.
* Pompano Beach on Monday, June 23 at 7 p.m. Call (954) 942-5550 to RSVP.
* Coral Springs on Tuesday, July 15 at 7 p.m. Call (954) 340-2625 to RSVP.

Each dinner will feature several courses of Anthony’s “Well Done” pizza and Italian Soul Food paired with a variety of Funky Buddha beers, including Fuhgeddaboudit Red Ale. Other popular Funky Buddha beers featured will include Floridian Hefeweizen, Fire in the Hole Raspberry Habanero Ale, Hop Gun IPA, Rice Crispy Treat Ale, Last Snow Porter, Crusher Session IPA Amarillo and more. A special guest from Funky Buddha will guide the pairings.

Cost is $30 per person (inclusive of tax and gratuity).

Known for its high energy atmosphere and simple menu, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza uses 800-degree coal burning ovens to create a “well done” taste. With a focus on fresh ingredients and authentic recipes, Anthony’s signature menu includes traditional and specialty pizzas with dough made daily and stretched to order; fresh coal-oven-roasted chicken wings; large homemade meatballs from a recipe passed down by Anthony’s grandmother; a classic Italian salad with original dressing; and Eggplant Marino (Dan’s favorite).

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza was voted Best Pizzeria, Best Wings and Best Local Chain in the 2013 Sun Sentinel/Southflorida.com Best of South Florida readers’ poll, and has been chosen Best Pizza by the Miami Herald, Miami.com, Palm Beach Post and WFLA’s iHeart Tampa Bay. The Brand was recently featured in the New York Times and has received rave reviews from Newsday. Anthony’s food and service continually are ranked “very good to excellent” by Zagat Survey, the distinguished dining and entertainment ratings guide, and is voted “Top 5 Most Popular” and “#1 Pizza” in Zagat’s America’s Top Restaurants edition.
