The Cupboard, Goodman JFS of Broward Featured on Here’s Help Radio Program

The Here’s Help Inc. radio program on Sunday, May 7, featured JFS of Broward County CEO Jacob Schreiber & Stephanie Silverman Houser, who spoke about  #TheCupboard.

Goodman JFS is taking a bold, new step with its creation of The Cupboard – a kosher food pantry where the county’s Jewish residents who suffer food insecurity will be served. The Cupboard, is opening in a 2,400 square-foot space in Davie and expected to launch this summer.

To head the initiative, JFS hired Stephanie Silverman Houser as The Cupboard’s director, who is overseeing operations of the tax-exempt not-for-profit food resource. The Cupboard will help meet the food needs of some 4,400 Holocaust survivors, seniors and others who suffer from food insecurity each day, with the ultimate goal of eliminating Jewish hunger in Broward County.

The Here’s Help radio program airs every Sunday at 6 a.m. on both Y-100 (WHYI-100.7 FM) and 103.5 FM – The Beat. Thanks to O’Connell & Goldberg PR for this great opportunity!
