Fortis Institute in Erie Wants to Create Beautiful Smiles for Kids
WHAT: Fortis Institute in Erie is giving a “thumbs up” for healthy smiles during its “Give Kids A Smile” Day event, a no-charge day of dental services for children at its on-campus Dental Hygiene Clinic. Services being provided include: cleanings, sealants, fluoride treatments, x-rays and oral hygiene evaluations. Volunteer dentists also will provide oral exams.
WHO: All children under the age of 18 are eligible for the dental services. Fortis Institute dental hygiene students, supervised by licensed dental hygienists and dentists, will provide complimentary dental services on an as-needed basis. The event is being held in partnership with the American Dental Association (ADA).
