Fortis College-Foley Medical Assistant Student Receives Scholarship

Fortis College in Foley, Alabama was honored when members of “Forty & Eight,” the charitable Honor Society of American Veterans, visited campus recently.

While there, the group, established by the American Legion, awarded a scholarship to Fortis-Foley Medical Assistant student Kaitlyn Sullivan. The Forty & Eight members also spoke with students about their commitment to medical training and the pride they felt for these young men and women seeking to serve others through health care.

As it celebrates Medical Assistants Recognition Week, Fortis College shares its pride in Kaitlyn, all its Medical Assistant students, and the men and women who served in the military to protect our freedoms. #FortisProud
