After five years of construction, Costa Hollywood Beach Resort is slated to open Oct. 19.

Owned by Moses Bensusan, the 307-room hotel at 777 N. Ocean Drive in Hollywood will feature a fitness center, communal courtyard, custom art pieces, and a 25,000-square-foot rooftop pool and sun deck with Atlantic Ocean and intracoastal waterway views.

Sixty-five workers have been hired to staff the hotel.

Suites will include handcrafted Italian cabinetry, a refrigerator and microwave, a Caffe Cagliari coffee capsule machine, and skincare products.

A ground-floor coffee store will serve breakfast and lunch items, coffee and made-to-order specialty drinks. Cielo, its bar on the seventh floor, will offer local craft beer, cocktails, lunch and dinner. A restaurant, Piegari, is expected to open next spring.

“There’s been great anticipation for the resort’s debut, and we look forward welcoming guests in advance of our grand opening next year,” General Manager Carlos Molinet said.

San Clemente, California-based Evolution Hospitality will manage the hotel. The privately owned hospitality and investment management firm’s portfolio includes the Queen Mary, Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, Hotel Adagio San Francisco, Hyatt Centric San Francisco Fisherman’s Wharf and the Riviera Resort & Spa Palm Springs.
